Dr. Leonard Fishman

"The enhancement of one's knowledge is a never-ending journey toward the pursuit of excellence." Dr. Fishman

Dr. Fishman continually investigates the latest in dental technology to expand his repertoire of skills. In between caring for his patients and learning new techniques, he was on faculty for 14 years at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He holds tomorrow's dentists up to his own rigorous standards of knowledge and patient care, and they thrive.

Dr. Fishman completed his education at the Washington University School of Dental Medicine in 1977. Dr.Fishman has recently been awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Attaining Fellowship is a rigorous process requiring completion of 500 hours of approved continuing education and passing a comprehensive exam. Only seven percent of the nation’s dentists have earned this distinguished award. With this prestigious qualification, you can be assured you are in the hands of an accomplished dentist; one who is always striving to be the best in his field of expertise. After receiving his DMD, he attended a hospital residency program at New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry at the Robert Wood Johnson Memorial Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Dr. Fishman shares his volunteer time with his wife working alongside her as a founding member of JACOB International, www.jacobintl.org and REACH Global, www.reachglobal.org.  These organizations were created to educate the population of the benefits of genetic testing to ascertain whether they carry the gene mutation which places them in a higher risk category for breast and ovarian cancer.
